GreenHome

The Australian Conservation Foundation's GreenHome program is a pioneering environmental education program that works with communities to find individual and collective solutions to environmental issues.

GreenHome is an ACF education program designed to work directly with individuals and communities to adapt to climate change. It was established in 2006 with the support of the Sustainability Fund.

GreenHome has worked with thousands of individuals to identify and support behaviour change at home and at work.

Over five years we have saved over 10,000 tonnes of CO2, 160 megalitres of water, and diverted over 900,000 litres of waste from landfill.

GreenHome works closely with community organisations and the business sector to train and support leaders to work directly with their peers to educate, engage and implement sustainability solutions.

GreenHome has worked with local councils in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria, and with community organisations like South East Councils Climate Change Alliance to deliver community education programs and train leaders to work directly in their own community.

We've worked with a diversity of business, such as AMP, City of Sydney, Origin, St Vincents and Mater Health, Lion Nathan and Westpac. We can provide your business with a sustainability framework.

We continue to work with individuals, community groups and businesses to identify and drive solutions towards a sustainable future.
