2009 ACF Peter Rawlinson Conservation Award
Thank you for expressing interest in this Award.
Peter Rawlinson was one of Australia's leading biologists and conservationists. He died on the island of Anak Krakatau, Indonesia, on 11 April 1991, while engaged in research field work. He was only 48 years old. This Award has been established in recognition of Peter's outstanding contribution as an environmental campaigner, researcher and teacher, and his untiring work for many conservation organisations, especially ACF, where he was Vice-President, Treasurer and Councillor. He is also a sorely missed friend.
We would strongly urge you to nominate a person or group you believe worthy of the Award by answering two questions and supply and referee.
Please fill in a nomination form and ask referee/s to fill in the Referee Form and send the entire document by email to council@acfonline.org.au. If you are unable to email please send by post to: Peter Rawlinson Award, ACF, Floor 1, 60 Leicester St, Carlton Vic 3053.
