The role

With the full support and guidance from the Director of Fundraising, and working in conjunction with the Database and Online Technologies (DOT) team and other ACF directorates, you will bring your strategic insights and significant experience to actively lead the Supporter Services area.  You will investigate and identify opportunities to optimise the supporter experience using data insights.  You are encouraged to innovate by recommending and implementing innovations in the way Supporter Services proactively contributes to, and supports, new initiatives within ACF.

Your role is pivotal in providing the best possible supporter-centric approach and you will ensure that interactions with supporters are conducted positively, reflecting ACF’s values and vision.  You will manage the workflow and effectiveness of gift processing functions and staff, and develop strategies to optimize processing performance and data integrity.

Skills

You will:

  • Be a great motivator; leading and developing your team and getting results.
  • Manage the overall integrity of our CRM (Raiser’s Edge).
  • Monitor key performance measures including supporter feedback, transaction volumes and trends, and service level standards.
  • Develop and implement overall strategy for supporter-record data hygiene processes.
  • Contribute to the wider Fundraising directorate’s strategy and targets.

    The Role

    Reporting to the Director of Fundraising you will play a critical role in leading ACF’s direct marketing program including the acquisition, retention and development of both the regular giving program and the cash donor program.

    With support from the Fundraising Director, you will;

    • Lead and manage regular giving, including managing Face to Face fundraising and online lead generation
    • Oversee the cash donor program responsible for 4 major campaigns (mail/digital) and emergency appeals
    • Provide insight and develop data analytics to improve retention and limit attrition and decline rates
    • Source, negotiate and manage key relationships with service providers
    • Be responsible for the program’s revenue forecasting model and annual budget
    • Manage and mentor the Direct Marketing Officer

    Skills Required

    This role would be suited to an ambitious, confident fundraiser with a proven track record managing direct marketing programs where regular giving has been the key focus.

    You will be;

     Communications and mobilisation volunteer

    Are you an energetic and creative person who enjoys working in a collaborative team and is passionate about engaging people to protect nature?

    • Join a dynamic team working across communications, digital campaigns, multimedia, community mobilisation, and social media.
    • Voluntary position. Training provided. A 2-month commitment of 7.5 – 15 hours per week, starting as soon as possible.

    The role

    The Volunteer will help ACF’s Communications and Mobilisation team with their work on the election campaign. The primary purpose of which is putting the environment on the agenda in the 2016 federal election. ACF is planning community activity in the lead up to the election in a number of electorates including a coordinated mobilisation on World Environment Day June 5th.

    Your responsibilities may include assisting with ACF events, mobilisations, and community management in the election period. You will receive training in digital campaigning, mobilising, and community management. You will work with a team of passionate, dedicated and highly skilled environmental advocates.

    Skills

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and good interpersonal skills.
    • Works well in a team environment, shows consideration and concern for others, respectful of different working styles.
    • An ability to work independently and efficiently.
    • Desirable, not essential: community organising or online organising experience.
